PCNTDA president illegally sold plots in Pune

Shiv Sena corporator, Sulbha Ubale, has alleged that the Pimpri Chinchwad New Township Development Authority (PCNTDA) president, Dilip Band, has illegally sold 20 plots in Chikhali-Pradhikaran to Delhi-based developers. According to a media release issued on Wednesday, the corporator said she got the details through a Right to Information (RTI) Act (2005) query. Ubale said PCNTDA published advertisement for sale of commercial plots in Chikhali in 2005-06. The authority sold 20 plots with an area of 15-20 guntha to three developers on first come, first served basis. According to the PCNTDA norms, only citizens residing in Maharashtra can purchase these plots and those working in the Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial belt for many years.
