GSDMA can’t find its chemical crisis plans

In an RTI reply, dept of industrial safety says it could not locate any such measures in place in districts A chemical emergency plan is not among the priorities in Gujarat, a state with one of the country's highest concentration of chemical industries, as a reply to a Right to Information (RTI) application indicates. Three years after the Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority (GSDMA) replied to an RTI query that a chemical disaster emergency plan was being drafted, Department of Industrial Safety and Health (DISH) could not locate even chemical emergency plans even in districts when another RTI query sought information on it recently.
