Discrepancy in allocation robs students of scholarships

As manny as 204 students from Class I to the post-graduate level have been cheated of their scholarships, due to them as part of a welfare scheme meant for wards of construction labourers. According to a reply to an RTI query filed by Bandhkam Mazdoor Sangathan, the students from Anand, Vadodara, Kheda and Panchmahals have either been given no scholarship money or given less than the promised amount. In a few instances, students have been given more than they are entitled to.
