Plot thickens over missing heritage items
The startling claims of city’s first chief architect MN Sharma, who worked closely with Le Corbusier, that the former professor of Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA) Kiran Joshi had a hand in the disappearance of valuable heritage items and drawings has found another ratifier. A former colleague of Joshi, Bipin Malik ‘ who was also a professor at the college ‘ has moved an application under Right To Information Act, seeking to know why Joshi hadn't returned the heritage material that she had borrowed from CCA before retiring in 2007.
