Govt did not seriously investigate CD case against Virbhadra Singh

Former Himachal minister Vijai Singh Mankotia fired a salvo against the state government on Wednesday, saying the unprecedented corruption the state had witnessed during the Congress regime had crossed all limits during the present rule. Talking about the CD (originally an audio cassette) that was released by him during the previous Congress regime, levelling allegations of corruption against the then chief minister Virbhadra Singh, he said had the present government seriously investigated the case, some people might have been behind the bars by now. He alleged that the FIR in the case was based on the information he had obtained under the Right to Information Act.
