Will can't be made public if executant alive: CIC
Details of a person's will can be made public only when it is submitted in court after his death; till that time, it can be accessed only by the person himself and his or her authorised agents, the Central Information Commission has said. "If the executant of the will is still living, it is only she/he or anyone authorised by her/him who may access the will," chief information commissioner Mr Wajahat Habibullah said.
