80 Haryana officers face action for violating RTI norms
The Haryana Chief Information Officer has said that departmental action is to be taken against 80 officers found guilty of not adhering to the Right to Information Act. At the launch of a book on the RTI Act, written by Additional Deputy Commissioner Abhe Singh Yadav, G Madhvan, the CIO, said the state received over 1,800complaints in the past one year about government officials not providing the information requested in the stipulated time period.
