You can get information even without the "form"
Although the right to information is mandatory, many citizens claim that application forms that government departments ask for is hindering the process. In response to a complaint filed by a slum dweller who lost his home, the Information Commission has ordered government departments that forms are not mandatory. Any piece of paper or even an oral complaint is enough to give a citizen access to information.
